As anyone who's look at my profile can see I have a hairy chest. No one has ever complained so I've never given it much thought but I've been informed that women now prefer smooth. Is this true? I could get a trim I suppose but if I shaved it it would become stubbly and ichy wouldn't it (? - guys) so I'm not keen. |

Hubby is completly smooth naturally. But to be honest i do enjoy a hairy chest love to run my fingers threw it. So shave/wax/veet if thats what YOU want to do! Its your body after all but some of us ladies love a hairy chest |

I would personally prefer to meet someone comfortable in their own skin, then someone who changes the way they look just to get laid.
It's one of the reasons I won't meet men (or women) with piercings but say on their profile they'll take them out if not to someones taste.
I'm not to everyone's taste, but I'm me, and won't change myself to suit others. |

From one hairy monkey to another... leave it be!
I shaved mine at the request of a gf many years ago (turned out she said trim... i heard shave!), and
A) I looked bloody ridiculous
B) it was itchy as hell whilst growing back
Embrace the hair |

Men to me look a bit like children if they don't have a hair or two on their chest, any guy Tha spends too much time on grooming tend to be trying to compensate for a lack in other areas. Do not remove it to get laid, it's. Just not worth it, not by any length of stick |

I had a female friend, married to a guy with a hairy chest; she said it was 'like he had a third hand.' So I guess it tickled her fancy!
I'm relatively smooth, never had a woman say "I'm glad you're not hairy-chested" or wish that I was. I'm just me and none of my partners have ever complained, or praised me about my chest. |

Yeah the itching would be the main worry. I'm unlikely ever to shave it off but I might have considered a trim if it was a help. |

Each to their own and all that but I have a real thing about hairy chests. So much so I can't even speak to the person as I find it such a turn off. This has actually got worse since joining here |

I've got a hairy chest (and shoulders and some back) and have never shaved it.
I yam who I yam! I make sure my junk is nicely trimmed and shaved but them that want to be with me will take me as I am.
Some (maybe more than most) women want a hairless guy but as with everything, there are some who want hairy chest.

I went through a phase of being a bit down about being of the hairy persuasion. It seemed increasingly a smooth man's world .
Them I realised a significant sub-section of the female population love it. Now I milk it for all its worth (not literally, that'd be weird and worrying).
Embrace it, run with it, revel in your good fortune and hairy-chested god-like status.

I think the problem with hairy anything on a site like this is that body hair is for touching not for looking at. If you notice most of the posters above that say they like it also mention how nice it is to stroke etc (third hand? lol!), with a few more mention how they like it cos it looks masculine, which it does. I know from experience that I much enjoy the look&feel of a hairy chest but it never appeals to me on pictures. |
