Looking at switching to a CD/TS just wondering what the difference between TV-CD-TS or tranny ect. Anyone able to clear the differences for me please x.
As for my self, need to tone the legs and hips, nothing jogging can't sort out, then a shave lol. I guess I'm looking for friends to chat with that have done this and I guess any guys that are fans come say hi, tell me what you like and I'll this about weather it's something I should consider ?? |

A TV transvestite likes to mostly dress in female clothes
A TS transexual is changing or changed from male to female or visa versa
A CD crossdresser dresses as a female sometimes or man others.
I think that's correct.

CD... dresses in items associated to the opposite gender, usually for sexual reasons, often doesnt remove body hair or use make up/wigs etc...
TV..... dresses fully in items associated to the opposite gender, removes bodyhair and uses make up/wigs etc.... sometimes for sexual reasons/sometimes not.
Tgirl... dresses fully, removes hair, uses make up/wigs, identifies as the gender they are presenting in. their 'dressing' is a strong part of their identity and does out publically and socialises, and isnt for sexual reasons (shows signs of transgenderism but doesn't want to change gender)
TS.... transsexual, feels they are in the wrong body and will be on the path to transitioning, and will be pre op or post op.
Tranny..... an outdated, derogatory term for any of the above and likely to cause offence to some TV, most TG and all TS.. |

A crossdresser just puts on women's clothes without trying to look fem
A transvestite is some one who goes a lot further and dresses fully but still lives as a man
A transgender is some one who is or staring to live full time as a woman but does not necessarily have to have hormones or surgery
Transsexual is someone who has had surgery
The term trannie is found by a lot in our community as derogatory so suggest you refrain from using it ,
Any thing else please ask away |

Some good guides above but also a massive amount of pigeon holing going on.
I'm a cd and spend a massive amount of time and effort for my look.
There are also plenty of ts's that don't put in much effort as in there head they are female already so don't feel the need to conform.
TS - has gender dysphoria and there body and gender doesn't match what they are mentally.
Most TS's will be pre op or post op.
TV/cd - both enjoy wearing womens clothes and cab range from panty hairy men to fully transformed ladies dependent on preference or level of femininity they wish to express.
On a lighter note Beint a cd is great fun hehe |

I was thinking a little the same haha
What am I?
I adore wearing women's clothes and underwear during fun times and can't completely shave (due to sports etc)
But I'd love to be smooth...
Not interested in going out in public dressed and don't feel im a female in a man's body - it's purely a kink for me.
Does that make me CD but TV curious? Lol
or can I call myself a CV being I the middle of the two titles |

Transvestite and Crossdresser are essentially the same words, but transvestite - from two words, trans and vestite, both originally Latin, trans (across) and vestite (from, the verb to clothe).
Trans used with any other word ending, in the area of gender/dressing, just roughly adds the 'across' element to the meaning. Transgender means broadly cross-gender and largely in this area would relate to someone who's identified in some/all ways with the 'opposite' gender and may be completing or has completed gender reassignment more fully.
Trans will often be shortened to T, again meaning across, as with Tgirl.
People of all genders can and do undertake changes to their gender.
If unsure when writing your profile, you can always be descriptive, explaining your situation. No one is under any obligation to conform to the gender that others wish them to be, as it is up to the individual to self-define.

haha, same issues lol. going for non see through stockings and I'll then look on how high I can keep leg hair. after that if im honest the rest will get shaved, no problem. Pure kink also but I think with the effort I will put in, I'm thinking TV, however its going to be a weekend think I guess |

If you're dressing for pleasure then to would suit you.for some it's a progression thing and agree there's lots of stunning tv s who put in lots of effort but for transgender it's not such of a desire or need to glam up . Lots on this site are looking for a very fem tgirl as that's what they see in porn ,
For transgender it's a bit more about the day to day stuff and although we want to be fem for me it's not the end of the world if I don't 'pass' out in public . Good luck |

"Its not just about the clothes and shaving the body hair. You need grace, the looks, elegance and a a feminine persona otherwise you will look like a guy in a frock."
This is very true! Mannerisms give away a tgirl very easily- I slip into a feminine 'headspace' when dolled up tbh so go quite femme without even thinking much, many don't xx |
