Should I be miffed?
She's crap with dates.
I put it on the calendar.
I told her it was our anniversary Tuesday only yesterday.
This morning I go to give her a card and she's; oh, we're not doing that now. We can do that later.
I asked and she admitted she hadn't bought a card yet.
So... Should I be miffed? Is that reasonable? I feel miffed. Kinda worry being so will ruin this evening though. |

"I'd be majorly miffed but I wouldn't let it ruin my day. She may well get something amazing "
I don't know why I expected her to get one really. We're stereotypically reversed. I buy her clothes as she sits on the bloke chair by the door. |

It wouldn't both me but then I'm not one for making a fuss, birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries don't bother me, cards are just a money making racket anyway
I'd sooner somebody just say happy anniversary than buy a card, its the thought that counts after all |

Oh i hope it feels a bit more like our anniversary later. I love romance. Perhaps she has a plan as everything I've suggested has been poo pooed so far. |

We both forgot one year...until my mum sent me a text. I don't put much importance on these things. Our everyday life together sometimes takes precedence over yet another milestone date. I'd enjoy what you have rather than counting the years. |

Look at the whole picture, what's a card and one day weighed against what you two have? |

My Dad once came home from work with the obligatory flowers, chocolate and champagne which were met with a look of vague confusion from my step mum. He triumphantly beamed a smug smile and announced "Happy wedding anniversary darling, did you forget?"............... Her response "errrm, it's the anniversary of your FIRST wedding". Whoopsie. |
