Why would somebody online who has requested a face pic suddenly go hidden/unavailable ? Should I be worried?

No, they might have something going on. If you delete the picture from your gallery it deletes their end too if it helps.

Also if you're a site supporter you can set messages to delete the picture once it's been viewed.

Ok thanks for that. I've messaged someone who verified them so if they let me know she's alright then i'm not worried. You just hear all these horror stories about the tabloids or blackmailers.

Maybe she decided to take a break from meeting?

I reading it and saw a guy who verified her, then I sent a message then gone as soon as message with pic was sent

There is always the possibility she was not attracted once she saw the pic so blocked and moved on.

It happens.

I'm not sure of the sequence of events here but quite a few people take exception to others contacting their previous meets.

I hate to say this. But this is the sort of behaviour that gives other single guys bad press. Next time just wait and if no response then give up and move on.

There was no malice in it. If you tar an entire demographic from the actions of the few then you are best avoided anyway

Agreed but how often to you read that people don't like being questioned as to why they aren't someone's type yet that tars many a single guy, I'm measly saying that contacting a past meet to check up on the postee whether good intentions or not may in fact do more damage than good.
