Has anyone else spent a day chatting with a new site user (female, unverified, no pics) to the point where you'd arranged a social then for them to disappear? Part of me feels sorry, that maybe they'd got cold feet or thought better of it, but the other, less charitable, part of me thinks "bloody time waster"... or is it my fault for being naive? |

When I first joined up I arranged to meet a couple quite quickly because the novelty of it was exciting, but I got cold feet in the few hours leading up to the meet (same day) but I was too scared of being called a timewaster that I deleted my account and hid for a few weeks until I plucked up the courage to try again and it wasn't so bad the second time around.
Don't get me wrong it must be extremely frustrating to be let down, but also both parties have the right to change their mind at any time before and even during the meet and that should be respected.
I've carried on with a meet even though I didn't really want to be there before out of guilt and fear of being called a 'timewaster' and it's not a nice feeling.

Hence my original post... I can understand the mindset that, in the cold light of day, just wants to run away from all the things we'd been discussing... some of it quite rude!

"New user, unverified, no pics? I wouldn't even have spoken to them. Screams of "I'll be unlos in 24 hours".
I know, I should have known better.."
I reckon there are very few of us on here who haven't fallen for some kind of nonsense at some point. We live and we learn! |

For me it's usually a male user, who has signed up less than a week ago, unverified who sends a one line message like "want to suck my cock tonight at mine?"
I find within 24 hours the user has left the site.
I've put it down to a d*unken guy with bi fantasies? |

I had this on my single profile from a man I'd been seeing regularly. After our last meet, he messaged me to say that basically it was over, that he was moving abroad to work. I got no chance to reply as he blocked me, cowardly man. Ive no idea if he went unlos but he may as well have done |

You have hit the nail right on the head. I too have carried on with a meet although I didn't really want to do it.
If you chat for a while and change mind it does not make you a timewaster..Consent can be withdrawn at any time. XXX |

"You mean women never talk 'dirty'? "
I don't. And pretty much every woman I know on here doesn't.
It is easy to tell if the profile holder is actually a woman, they 'talk' very differently compared to how men think women talk to each other. |

Go straight for the jugular OP "You sound nice, but what do you look like?" Type of message & be wary of non selfie pics at first, If they didn't take them who did? You may well be talking to the person that took the photo rather than the person in it.
I don't mind wasting a message or two on them gen or not, but I've no time for someone that talks to people as public as us who then don't want to send a face pic tbh..Quite understand peeps not wanting them on here but not wanting to send one full stop is fishy..Most just try to ignore the question with another. More than once we've just outright said "We think your a fella, until you prove otherwise go away..
Oh and Google reverse image search is your friend too sometimes do use it!!
Have fun

I do! I write smut as a sideline and very much enjoy talking dirty...online. Get me in person and I go scarlet to my hair roots at the thought of stuttering out something naughty. Still, no matter how nervous I am before a meet, I couldn't let them down, never mind UNLOS - but now I understand why I get so many messages in the lead up checking whether I was still going through with it! |

I think this is about right. Any woman asking quickly for pics is someone to be wary of. |

Really?! I ask quickly for pics, (when I'm meeting), because I need to know what someone looks like to decide if it's worth chatting.
I'd expect most women to want to see pics fairly soon because it's easier to say no thanks early rather than after you've been chatting for days.
The point that men pretending to be women don't talk like women do is usually very true though. |
