The logic of adding someone to their hot list but:
Have never met them, spoke to them, messaged them or winked them?
I know there's a lot of people who use the hot list option (I am not one of them) for all sorts of reasons, but is the above practice common place or just a little bit odd? Which is what it seems to me |

I think everyone uses the site very differently, I know some who use the hot list for the opposite reason to remind them of people they actively avoid, my hubster uses it for couples he's interested in, myself never look at it |

Why does is seem odd for people to add profiles onto their hotlist, if never been in contact? It's a tool to be used by people how they want. No harm in listing profiles that catch your eye for future interaction? Couples may use it for the other half to view later and if they agree to contact - no sense for one half of the couple to message someone for the other not wanting to! |

The way I see it, the hotlist is a kind of holding pen or to do list for possible future interaction of some sort. Everyone runs their profiles in a way that suits them, probably best not to worry how others go about their business. |

Our hot list is just that - a list of people we think are hot. They're either out of our league, too far away or after different things to us so we won't try it on with them. But damn, they sure are purdy to behold and brighten our day when they post new pics |

This is how we use ours with the rare addition of the odd fabber we want to avoid but still keep an eye on. |

I use the hotlist to keep an eye on people but not to be able to communicate with them necessarily ...
On the flip side I have had messages off men telling me I'm on their hotlist so they know when I upload new pics.. |

"the only people in our hot list is people we have met and will/do meet again and again "
Surely that should be friends list? My hotlist is a pending file. For many guys I happen to know it's basically a perving list or wank bank lol! |

I have hotlisted several club profiles and people that i may wish to avoid at events..
I also after looking at my hotlist stick people in for what at the time must have been a valid reason but I'm buggered if i know why now |

My hotlist contains people I speak to and want to meet
Also there are a couple o there that I want to sleak to but waiting to see them online before I do.
Sometimes I prefer the people to be online before I message |

I add people to holistic if I've yet to meet the person, then add as friend once I've met them
I also add people who do events/socials/club meets, to keep an eye on updates.
It's a useful tool for me. |
