Verified a fake used?

A 'couple' in my local area who I had been chatting to recently appeared in the chat room on cam the other day (well the fem did). We spoke and they asked me to verify them (via cam)which I did..
Went back into the room and a few people commented it looked like a website feed. Indeed there wasn't a response to requests to wave etc and their was a glare on the screen.
Since run some of their photos through tineye (a web based app which locates photos from the web) and they come back to porn sites.
Prior to this I had arranged to possibly meet up with the fem next week (arranging the same Sunday) whilst her hubby was away (not behind his back though)
Do I:
Report them now?
Wait until Sunday and shee what happens?
Do nothing?
I don't want to ruin my chances with them but am concerned. Not really sure what anyone would get out a fake profile anyway?

yep! agree that being careful with verifications, I would only verify person(s)I had actually met....don't set store on cam for reason OP said. |

webcam verifications are shite anyway, cmon they are ussualy written by wanking obsessed males verifying a barbers floor cos it has hair on it.
the people real or not may not even be swingers..just wind up merchants ,we take no notice of most veries but non at all of webcam ones |

lol - if it was the case that people will verify 'couples' on the basis that there's only one person there then what would stop single guys who are pretending to be couples from saying - 'verify us - I know it's just me here at the moment - she's in the bath!' You've really got to be able to see both people surely to verify a couple! Z |

If it was a bloke claiming to be a couple that would be different (to my mind) as there are a lot of single men on the site and an unknown amount probably saying they are couples but with women I think it is different as I don't really see what advantage there is to a woman saying she is a couple when she isn't. |

Yes but at the time I could see a female and thought it was her. It wasn't at that point an issue as to whether she was a couple as I could see someone |

i only verify who i have met then you know there genuine peeps ,even seeing people on cam dnt mean there genuine to me meeting the real people is what its all about .
If u go chat nearly all people on cam play or men sit wanking if u dont play people tend not to speak to you . but then its swinging site why have verifications on profile if they mean nothing to some people ????
i take notice of verification it tells u a lot about the person .

I would report the user and in the report box, post the linky to this thread. Admin take a dim view on people giving false verifications but in this case its an honest mistake.

Verifications are something that I treat with importance, and you did the best you thought at the time, though I wouldn't be swayed to verify a couple, if only 1 person is present.
If all the photos and videos that you got can be found on porn sites, then that is just reason to report them. I'd probably still report them conditionally, with the caveat that you are not 100% sure. This could prevent many others being scammed, wasting time and money going for meets that aren't real.
Whether someone is male or female shouldn't matter regarding verifications, single guys don't deserve a harder time than many of them get. Have equally high standards for all, and the system will work well.

Hi everyone we are photo verifyed and have messaged, cammed and met another couple from this site, they are also photo verifyed but when try leave feed back about them I.e we met them we can't? We thought my patner and I that when we sent verification photo (green flag) that was verification? where we going wrong can someone please help? thank you. |

you have to be verified yourself before you can verify someone else,hope this helps |

If people have got such an issue with verifying via the rooms why is it an option?
Very easy to just go about assuming isn't it? They asked me to verify, I thought they were genuine and she said her hubby was away. If we accept for a minute she was genuine then I suspect that any chance of a meet would have been off the cards had I said no.
My intentions have got nothing to do with the verification. But of course to think somebody made a genuine mistake it just out of the queston. |

OP take no notice of everyone making assumptions and jumping in with their own versions of what they think you were doing,chat room cam veris are allowed
I think you made a genuine mistake and I think you should report the profile saying exactly what you did,if anything its a lesson learnt and next time you'll be a bit more wary and make more checks |

One of the reasons that we like to see people verified (by any of the three ways) is to prove a female is there not that a male is there
How many threads or complaints do we see about fems making make profiles as we do males making fake profiles? Can't say that I have seen anyone saying they have seen a fem pretending there is a male there.
So while not condoning what the op has done, is it really that bad? Give him a break eh?
