Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to get a message noticed on here?

What gives a guy the best chance of getting a reply?

Mine are usually polite, saying who I am and a little bit about myself. Is this a good or bad approach?

I think "Saw your pictures and want to come all over your tits" is going to get an instant block (or is it?).

So what do you like to read in a message?

Chatty and light hearted without too many sexual references and no cock pics. The sexually specific chat can wait until we see if there is a spark.

There is no holy grail of message sending I'm afraid. Women receive tonnes so it can be a matter of pot luck too.
