I've just moved to Darwen (I know!) and to be honest it's bloody lonely! Just wondering if there's any social events or even anyone that can recommend a decent pub to go to? Thanks in advance! *prepares myself for relentless fab onslaught*  |

If you're looking for Fab friends then your best bet is clubs and socials - have a look at the club listings and check the forums for local socials, there will be some. If you're looking for vanilla socialising, try meetup.com |

The nearest club I can find is the Gatehouse Bolton.... Any experience of there? X |
