Hi Fab. I'm just trying to rewrite my profile. I have not really used the site as much as I'd like but I'd like to actually make a few friends in real life on here and have a few meets even just socials. I spend a lot of time on mods chat. I wondered if any of you could give me a few pointers as I'm not the best with things of a written nature.

Rambles a bit, the stuff about never sure what to put and really must get to a social is conversational but pointless in a profile in my opinion. Otherwise it's fine. I forgot to look at your pictures... |

Ok, pictures are good the full length one a bit dark May be but it gives an idea of body type. Get yourself known in the fora you have a look about you that will appeal to quite a few women I think.

Thanks I need a new full length one as I've lost a bit more weight since then. I hope so 80s rock style ain't always so popular but it's my job and way of life so I'd sooner find people who appreciate the real me. |

Saying that you really must go to a social implies you have had opportunity but just haven't bothered. What's stopping you? It's a gathering, usually in a pub, with people who happen to be swingers.
You also have a niche look that online will restrict your audience, face to face will be completely different. |

It means I want to go and only just recently been invited but it's always coincided with when I'm at work or had gigs to play. Also I'm not sure what to expect from a social but thanks to you I now can see nothing to worry about |

Yeh it does say in my profile I just don't want to go into to much detail publicly for obvious reason lol.
The reason I mention it is it might give people a better understanding of who I am and my lifestyle which is full of music and gigs.

I don't think it's realistic to come on Fab expecting to be the 'real you'. The real you is for everyday life. The swing scene is a lot about showing a sexy side, which may not be shown in real life. My everyday image is very boring - jeans, sweater, messy hair. Had to sex myself up for the swing scene. I can assure you very few women on this website will not be wearing high heels as part of their every day image. So if women can alter their every day image in order to be more sexy, why do men just expect to be the same as they are in normal life? |

Yes more than likely I am dyslexic but to make matters worse my iPhone tends to autocorrect words to what it thinks it should be all the time which is annoying. Thanks for that |

That's great. So maybe you could you post some pictures of you dressed up, as you would for a meet or a swing party? That might be appealing to some of the women here. |

Well I mostly Dress rock styled with hair done up and a bit of guyliner, and it's a normal thing for me, except for the slob at home mode. I rarely wear suits but have more photos on my friends only. I'll put one up

Sorry for some reason I cocked that up. I added some now. I mostly dress rock/glam/metal with a little guy liner. I rarely wear a suit. The only time I don't dress up is when I'm in slob mode st home lol |

I've not looked at your profile, but the fact you've considered the advice you've been given, had a bit of banter and not got arsey or aggressive about the advice says a lot for you.
I suspect you'll be fine.
Pop along to the lounge, have a looksie at what's going on and get a feel of the place.
When your comfy jump in. The lounge isn't necessarily the place to get meets, but it's not a bad barometer of what people like to see on a profile.
