Hi,Any Couples MF M or F looking at the alternative lifestyles, we are very keen to get into a more meaningful relationship with the right people..we love being swingers but always knew that's something is missing... maybe the mental connect.

Yes, we're open to it with the right man but in the poly world it's termed a unicorn as finding someone we both 'connect' with emotionally as well as physically is quite a challenge. |

It's an interesting idea. At what poin do you put that label on it though? Plenty of plusses but I should imagine it's a tough balance to get right.

I have a friend who i guess had such a relationship. She lived with one guy through the week and one at the weekend. Not sure if this is the same.
Im anyone wants to talk to her about this I could ask and see. |

I have always loved and imagined this. As a bi lady i would have loved a relationship with both a man and a woman. All 3 of us together but actually now i find myself wishing i was with a bi guy who was into other bi guys so i could envisage a relationship with 2 bi guys.. yum... hell why not add in a bi girl too... so a 4 people relationship... smiles |

I would imagine these things build up over time. They don't just happen, just like any relationship .... if you are out and about at clubs and socialising, I would imagine people would get to know you and decide for themselves. Its a big commitment to get into any relationship |

If she was emotionally attached to them both rather than just sexually, then yes she had a poly v setup. Like I said, we've discussed it as we're open to things developing deeper, I guess you have to be if you're opening up your relationship to someone sexually and you're seeing that person more than once. |

Not necessarily. It may for some, but I've been in an open poly relationship for around 7 years now. And yes, there is arguments, but you learn to deal with those. Just like in a 'normal' relationship. |

Check out the website and podcast "Life on the Swing Set" the latest podcast covers moving from swinging to poly so it might be perfect for you guys.
Also try reading "Opening Up: A guide to creating and sustaining open relationships" by Tristan Taormino. She also has a great podcast that is well worth a listen  |

Unicorn isn't solely a poly term - it's also used in swinging, mainly for single girls, but a lot of people don't like that term being used to describe them.
We've been exploring polyamory for the last couple of years and had some great experiences. I've had a boyfriend and C has had another girlfriend but we don't really specifically look for someone to be poly with - if we bump into the right person and it happens then great  |

We discussed it too after a guy Kate was meeting expressed he was developing emotions.
After talking we decided to go for it, however I think the fantasy was better than the reality for the guy so it didn't come to anything.
That said, it's still something we'd like to explore but don't see it as being easy to find as already mentioned, some people can be very convincing when sex is on offer etc.
Still, we are still open to it. Let us know how you get on!

We've been poly for a couple of years. We've each had relationships whilst together, but haven't yet found a person who is right for both of us and vice versa. Even finding a sexually and emotionally bi person is hard |
