No longer on site

It used to be that when a member left any messages they had sent me would read "no longer on site "

This morning the messages from a member disappeared presumably after their profile was deleted.

Is this a change I wonder?

Derbyshire

I seem to recall it makes a difference whether the person chose to delete their account, or whether it was deleted by admin.

But I'm just speculating

I honestly don't get why people sign up to the site to then disappear within a day or so. I can only think they're upto no good and playing away etc but it seems to becoming more frequent.

No it isn't, I've a funny feeling that depending on how they left determines whether their messages remain or not

If the messages vanish , then admins removed the profile

i think when you delete you can request that anything related to you can be removed - so forum posts - messages etc all go - i only found this out when it happened to us and i asked and this was one of the replies
