thanks for the replies , may i ask you gglow boy if you could message me , i should have it blocked but a guy did message me yesterday, since i have done the block again x |

We have people with no public photos filtered out so in theory they shouldn't be able to message us but they still do. The filters do not work and we have reported it numerous times to admin and buggar all gets done not even the courtesy of a reply. |

Maybe you'd talked to him before. It won't block people who you've had contact with already. |

The filters DO work..
The no public pics filter is useless though... an avatar counts as a public pic  Or people make a private pic public... send a message ... then make the pic private again. |

I have questioned people over this and as they don't even have private pics and I have messaged them back instantly this cannot be true and if the silhouette counts as an avatar what the hell is the point of the filter? |

Not the silhouette... if they have a pic as their avatar but the pic isn't public.
Also, you would only know they dont have public or friends pics... you've no way of knowing how many private pics anyone has.
By the time the message has arrived in youre inbox they can have changed the pricacy of the pic back in one quick click |

It does work as I went to message you and it said I couldn't as you only want messages from people with public pictures. So I then set a picture as public and I can now message you if I wanted to.
Possibly not but then I suspect the FAQ might answer your question or you can post the question on the site help forum |

We do not have single males filtered out whether they in our preferences or not. We do however have people (male or female) without public pics filtered out yet he was still able to message us as he said. |

Can I ask? Is the mobile number a swing phone or your everyday one? Is it the same number as your Facebook etc?
I'd be more concerned about work people recognising you that way than from standing next to you at the urinal. |

All they do is open up one foto message you and then remove the foto again.. Course once you reply it doesnt matter as they can keep on messaging . Best is to just ignore them

my phone number is a swinging one , the only reason i have it up is i cant get online with a phone so it makes contact possible when i am off line |
