Can only speak from the experience of having my cock, balls and pubic mound waxed a year ago, that started off as a challenge from Ms G to get them done that I accepted thinking there'd be nowhere to provide that service for guys. Little did I know that there was just such a place, catering JUST to men, just 20 minutes away from where we live!!
Booked an appointment with apprehension but very impressed by the place's website that provided comprehensive details about what to expect, aftercare etc etc.
Turned up and was greeted warmly, any questions I had were answered fully etc, and was then asked to strip from the waist down and lie on the table. There was no embarassment and the waxer kept up a steady stream of chat throughout, asking me to position myself various ways as she went about defurring me.
There were odd moments of very mild pain, but that lasted a nano-second, and within 30 minutes she was done, and left me with a far smoother finish than I'd ever achieved with a razor. For it to be really effective you have to keep going back every 6-8 weeks and sadly at the time I couldn't justify the £40 cost on that regular a basis - but I'd definitely go back for a one off occasion when needed.
And yes it's not unheard of for a stiffy to be experienced but it soon disappears once your hair is being ripped out.....apparently  |

A salon that does it will have waxed all sorts. Once you've done it once, you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.
When I get my intimate wax, we chat about holidays, work etc. Its never embarrassing in any way.

Been doing this for years..
Important that they use soft wax on the tender bits as opposed to strip wax, which will hurt much more..
I use a salon who have two therapists working together and for a full BCS they are done in 30 to 40 minutes..
It does give a wonderful smooth feeling that you just cannot get with shaving..
Go for it but chat with the salon first.. |
