Who has been on a swingers cruise? If so, what is it like? How did you find everything, such as accommodation, food etc? What were the other travellers like (age, type etc)? Was it worth it?
I ask because we both like the idea, but it is a lot of money for something that could be either brilliant or terrible. |

This is something that we have considered a few times over the years and know quite a few people who have done it.
The ships tend to be high end liners with top notch facilities and mainly American passengers on most cruises, which centre around the Caribbean.
If you have never been cruising before, despite the fact that you are sailing with 3000 + people, you often don't see the same person twice and there is so much room!!!
The swinging cruises tend to be very party orientated, although there are quieter bars and cabaret for those who want a chilled night. Like any swinging holiday, sex is not the centre of everything onboard, but it's a much more liberated vibe, which lends itself to sexual encounters. The swinging cruises are only for swingers, so there are no general public on there, so there is no risk of offending. Some ships have no sex areas, no nudity areas and other areas that are no holds barred! lol
I believe that most ships still have the strict dress codes in the restaurants and some function areas.
The cabins are like any other ship in that you can get basic inside cabins and you get what you pay for, but I would say, if you are going to cruise, then go for the outside balcony cabins, you won't regret it! There is also plenty of room in these cabins for 4 or more! lol

What's the average age of the people who go on a swinging cruise?
I only ask as the people I know who have been on normal vanilla cruises tell me there are a lot of 50+ people who go on the cruises they've been on, so I'm curious if it's the same with swinging cruises. |

We have been on several leaving from Florida. 3000 like minded people made the chartered ship a great party. They usually set sail in April or November (we will be on the November this year). The atmosphere is really relaxed even if you don't play, the crew love it too... As they never have anyone complaining about trivial things. Would definitely recommend one. |

We are off to the Fjords this Monday on a P&O ship and although not a swinging cruise by any stretch of the imagination, now and again you meet like minded and liberated fellow passengers which is a massive bonus. It also doesn't matter if you don't meet other swingers as if like us, you will love the experience. This is our 10th cruise.  |
