I've just had to rebuild my Lappy and have installed (once again) Mozilla Firefox, I notice that on the toolbar beside the "HOME" icon there's a rating symbol!
When I hover over it this is what I get:
"This Site has a good rating - based on a small number of votes"
Does anyone that uses Firefox know how we can make the rating better?
I'm currently using Ver 3.6.13
Thanks.

it could be Mcafee or could als be a firefoxc plug in like Web of trust,
only the site owner can change the rating by modifying the site
whith Mcafee its automated web crawlers analyse a site and set it a rating for how secure it is and or how likely it is to steal your passwords or infect you with malware
the Web of trust is simil;ar but is based on votes by users of teh system
from what you have descibed it sounds like you are using web of trust
what the site are you talking about, PM me links not allowed on forum i belive |

I have it to, it's and avast firefox plugin.
If at the top of your browser you click tools then add-ons you will see it.
The only way more can rate it is if more have the plugin installed and rate the site.
