Texted before hand to say he was running an hour late, or texted you at the supposed meet time after being an hour late? |

If he was just a no show....he wouldn't have texted. Maybe something happened to delay him (let's hope not his mrs?). Or could be bad traffic like Shag said....
Give him the hour, or it will be you that's the no show....! |

If it was me saying I was late I'd be giving plenty of notice. If it's say an hour before the meet is set for I wouldn't entertain them I'd still wait the hour see if they show but I wouldn't be getting my hopes up |

We'd wait if already there and it was comfortable/inside but would be clear that we wouldn't give them any longer.

hope you don't let it get to you and have a nice night anyway. men aren't that keen on socials i've noticed, or socialising, so i've pretty much stopped meeting now. |

^^^ I agree with this, anytime I have done a social meet today, men aren't interested unless play is guaranteed  |

I've had several who've cancelled socials right at the last minute, and they turned out to have girlfriends or fiancées, etc. Very annoying. Genuinely single guys are more reliable. |

15 min journey can easily take an hour if something has happened. My normal route to the cinema is 15 mins... But I had to miss a movie because 30mins later id not moved.
He let you know. Id have waited the hour x |

Your call. I was late for one meet by an hour.
I did apologise at the meet and did say i fully understood if you went home and blocked me.
Things do and can happen. The response of my meet as to why she waited was her gut feeling told her I was genuine and would come.

That's terrible! I can't believe the behaviour of some people! Spineless . Not a man at all. Let's hope he has read this post and feels throughly ashamed of himself for behaving so shamefully.
If he changed his mind for any reason, them whilst disappointing for you, he should have had the decency to tell you he isn't coming so you aren't left there waiting for him.
I am sorry he wasted your time but pleased he didn't get the pleasure of your company. |

Once took me 45 minutes to get a wheel off as the nuts had been tightened with an air hammer at the tyre place. Even with a long torque wrench and a lot of cursing - it was a major struggle. |

If it was someone id met before - I'd wait, Someone new - then I would know whether to call it off by the conversations I would have had prior to this. I rarely meet without several conversations beforehand |
