"Just wondering if people prefer winks first or message?"

I find people don't take much notice of winks so have to be a message

You Dont Need to Know, right now

I never look at my winks. In face, I wish we could turn this feature off, and have a bounce-back saying "this profile doesn't accept winks". People think that they're breaking the ice by sending a wink, but in fact, they're not even on my radar.

We like winks. It's like a little test of the water without having to have the uncomfortable waiting for a message reply. Works well for us as a couple. (I suppose it's similar to the swipe left/right matching on Tinder).

I do understand how some single girls would want to turn them off though!

Having read your profile you don't use the inbox system so messaging or winking would,nt get a response from anyway

I asked this of someone the other day and was surprised that they saw nothing wrong with a wink as a 'hello'. Different strokes...

I,v had few good meets that started with a wink had more from messages but if I,m on the border line of what they are looking for then a wink is not wasting any ones time.
