I had one this month where they had keys rather than cards so I had to physically check out. Given I had only been there a few hours I did feel a bit uneasy! |

Check out day-use hotels, no credits needed and last minute cancellations and you don't need to book for the whole day so you don't have to pay for the whole day |

thanks - think it is better for cities though as tried it for my area and nothing local and prices extortionate.
Would be good if the idea caught on but can imagine some hotels don't want the rep of customers who seek day meets. |

They don't care once they are getting money. Plus they're quite common near airports etc for stop overs. Could be any reason for your stay. |

I was asked so many questions last weekend and then told it was a twin room but because I was meeting a friend it was okay?? I'm sure they are just being friendly but I always think they know what's going on |

I have never had a problem checking out of a hotel room early. I have also been able to use cash to pay for the room.
When i did hotel meets i mostly used Premier Inns. |

Based on this i wont be using ibis then its none of there business if you want to check out early your paying for the room and there wages after all. Ive never come across that with other hotels and hotel chains ive used. |

Tell them in advance you're only intend using it for a day room. Use day rooms all the time with my line of work and never an eye batted.

Cash is usually accepted with proof of I'D, its a security measure and I usually standard practice (wether or not the reception staff enforce it is another matter)
Just leave the key / card in the room and just walk |

Any if the big chains will have receptions that fitness care what your doing.
We use hotels all the time and three no need to check out. Just go. They won't know your leaving, your just another guest walking through reception. |

I booked a family room for me, hubby and my long term guy. Didn't seem to be a problem when we checked in together but in the morning when we returned to the room after breakfast and got busy, someone knocked on the door 20 minutes before checkout and then they rang the phone five minutes before checkout to remind us!!! |

"I've never had to explain anything to any hotel I've been in... Pay, stay, go.. "
I think that he means pay cash...
But once you're not cheating on ur wife or girlfriend why not paying with card
(I never been to any hotel that they ask me for my life story) |
