Sadly seems to be common place . I don't understand the point in making all that effort to chat and then arrange to meet then not bother ??

How many let downs have you had ? Are you looking just for couples or a single woman if its the single woman they tend to be the most difficult meet to arrange

People who organise meets should be named and shamed if they disappear and let the other person down ,we aren't allowed to do it because obviously some may abuse it ,I have never missed a meet but those that do and the OP has had some experience of this should be highlighted ,just have to chalk it down to bad luck

You arranged to meet me last week and never turned up.. not even a message...... ok you didnt but see how easy it is to abuse name and shame.. its your word against mine

Yes of course they are, but surely it's polite to let you know when they have said they are definately coming? (Also noted my original message had autocorrected to 2 other words instead of come so have corrected in this post)

I have only had to cancel a meet short notice in the case of a family emergency. If I change my mind you will know about it well before the day and before meeting in a club. I never do first meets in a club but rather in a coffee bar down the road. If we get on then we may go to the club, if not then a horrid entry fee which I split anyway hasn't been "wasted". Surely once you are in the club regardless of whether a prearranged meet falls through you can have a good time? Plenty of people to chat too, have a few drinks, soak in the tub if they have one etc. If you find someone else to play with instead then that is an added bonus
