Sending messages in the chatroom

I'm no idiot when it comes to tech stuff. However recently when I go on fab chat on my mobile I used to use the arrow at the bottom right of my keyboard to send messages. Suddenly all of a sudden this arrow now just drops down my typing to the next line! Anybody out there your help would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure hitting the "enter" key on your keypad has the same affect?
