Just had exactly that experience. Woman/couple invited us and we accepted. We have face pics in private, they don't. We have a phone conversation with them and he says that they won't send any because when they've sent face pics in the past, people don't meet up with them.....go figure!!!

If someone contacts me, I ask on my profile that they include a face pic if it's not available on their profile - as they're the one initiating the contact. If they don't and I like the sound of them otherwise - I'll ask. Otherwise I'll just delete as my profile is quite clear in asking for one.
If I contact someone first, I'll attach a pic so they know who they're talking to. |

I have face pics on my profile if no one cam be arsed to send me one or gives excuses then I block them I ain't Cilla and I'm not looking for a blind date |

If you are prospecting then you are the one who has to meet the profile "first contact" criterea. If a couple contact you then they should offer the first pics.
However if they don't respond after seeing your pic, then they obviously don't fancy you, and it could be a number of reasons. In our case, if I don't like the look of the guy, there is no way he'll get near my wife.
Don't take it personally, couples get turned down too  |
