Depends where you're going - but always use far more suncream than you think you need!
Especially - nipples (easily burnt!) crotch, and your bum (it rubs off quickly when you sit down - then you get burnt!
If you're going somewhere private - relax and enjoy!
If you're going to a Naturist site, forget about sex, forget about fears or embarrassment and just enjoy!
If you're going to a nude swinging site - prepared to be pestered by idiots, and watched by dozens of annoying "meerkats"... try to enjoy yourselves if you can,,, but it's hard work!!!

"Thanks guys
All very helpful
Been shopping today for the high high factors!!!!
Don't want the trip ruined on day one!!!"
It's very easy and typical on the first day if it's a scorcher.
We have a few sunbed sessions to prep our skin before we go too. X |

Dortmund (Germany) might travel! |
We've been to Hedo a few times and going from European winter to Jamaican sun, heat, nudity, alcohol and outdoor sex is not great for the skin!
The best way (and this is coming from an Antipodean!) I've found is to use a subbed for about 6 weeks prior. Start very low intensity and build up. By the time you hit the sun you have a fair degree of natural protection. Then add factor 30-50 as needed and no burning occurs.
Sun beds aren't healthy, obviously, but it has to be better than getting caught out in the sun blistering white and getting badly burned. I never used to do this but I found no matter how careful I was, every summer 2 or 3 times I'd get stuck in a situation where I couldn't avoid the sun and wasn't fully prepared and then burn badly.
That or hide in shade and keep fully clothed.
So lesser of two evils for me, sunbed to accustom use the skin. |

There's only minimal difference between spf30 and 50. Reapplying regularly is the key to not burning, whether it be 30 or 50 you're using.
We've been to Cap d'Agde a couple of times and had a few sunbed sessions beforehand to get the bits that don't see the sun used to the UV, seemed to help |

best advice we can give is sit / lay under an umbrella use a good sunblock and reapply after a swim , sunglasses / wide brimmed hat, if you are a bit short on hair cream your head and tops of ears.. we see at all the time , people laying in the full sun thinking they only have a week to tan, next day they look like lobsters ..enjoy ..connie x
ps..dont forget to have a few condoms with you just in case you get lucky.. |

"Off on our first nudist sunbathing trip.
Any tips/ tricks or words of wisdom would be much appreciated!!!
Want to avoid the obvious sun burn issues!!!
Ian and becks "
I`ve been a naturist/nudist for over 30 yrs. Plenty of of high factor sun cream. And re-apply regularly.Sun hat and glasses. Also remember to keep hydrated, so drink lots of water when in the sun. Hope this helps and have a great holiday.

"why do people use Sun beds when they have been warned and warned time after time not to use them"
For the same reason that people go out in the sun when warned time and time again not to do it. The word is dangerous but most people here are grown ups and can look after themselves. |

We get our kit off early in the year so that by the summer our skin is used to the sun.
Usually 12 degrees c upwards.
Club, beach or back garden, way better than a Sunbed. |

Sunbathing is just not worth the risk! Rates of skin cancer are increasing all the time.
I only say this, because I've had a scare in that respect.
Please take care of yourself. |
