As you've kinda done DP, albeit with a bit of plastic/rubber, you're kinda physically prepared for it and know what to expect.
However, with more limbs to the mix, nerves, etcetera it can sometimes prove tricky, depending on the other parties.
I'd just day regardless of DP or DVP, have fun with it, relax.
