I am hearing more and more of women and some couples messaging and after a while the messages goes.......
£… for a 2hour meet.
Or something similar.....
I have been on and off of fab for 8 years now, but this seems a disturbing trend.
Thoughts guys? |

Where are you hearing that?
There;s the occassional mention of similar behaviour on the forums but it seems to be the exception not the norm. |

Fab is not for commercial use in any way (except for clubs to provide info on their nights)
So if anyone is selling ANYTHING - then report to admin.
So in answer to your post OP, no Fab is not a substitute for the classifieds. |

Huh, it seems being offered money is quite common, then - I've had it a few times, too :\
Hadn't heard of people actually charging, though! There's better/other sites for that, heh.

Surely we understand that sites such as this will attract hookers,rent boys etc.
Most of us can deal with requests from such people without over reaction/hysteria. I have never looked at it as a problem.The few times it has happened to me,i have simply said,sorry,not into that..I don't get the impression it has become widespread but read some profiles and it is fairly obvious. |

In my experience rarely are those ££££ profiles or those that mention ££££ when it comes to meeting ever suspended/deleted when reported.
I had one cpl when it came to final arranging asking me could I bring them a supply of sniffy sniffy. Again profile reported but it wasn't suspended/deleted. |

Just to put some balance on here - we have never been offered money, nor would we take it or offer it to anyone. Really do not see this as a pervasive problem, if it crops up we will report & block. |

I've never had anyone ask me to pay whatever amount for sex. I have though had a small few offering to pay me (I reported those). So from a very unscientific cross section I would say people are more likely to offer money than ask for it. |

On a similar site a guy told me I could have an hour of his time for 2 thousand pounds! He wouldn't guarantee sex for this price as it would depend if he fancied me when we met. I haven't seen it myself but have heard of it from others.
What is perhaps a little peculiar is that there is a place for pretty much anything and everything on line so if guys want to pay or females want to offer it why not go to those sites? With that said I can imagine this place is a good place to tout for business with how horny and desperate some blokes get! |

I've been offered money buy a guy: blocked and reported.
I've also been asked by a couple to travel to them, pay for the hotel and their dinner... But no sex promised: also blocked and reported.
Theost hilarious one was a girl in chat notnlong ago: would only meet guys in suits that drove to her, would not do pub meets but lunch in trendy restaurants was acceptable. Would not go to a Travelodge as nothing less than the Ritz for her, and if she was meeting the person in a restaurant or hotel the black cab would have to be prebooked and paid for (no minicab).
