We are planning a weekend away and want a city break, we fancy visiting a club but as we intend to stay in a city centre (you guessed it saturday shopping) we dont want to drive out of then back to the city centre hotel. Are there any such clubs actually in a city centre. We have not selected a venue but Manchester / London / Chester / York are possibilities. Thanks |

La Chambre in Sheffield is a short tram ride from the city centre, about £5 in a taxi back. I don't know whether Sheffield has any good shops/attractions, though .... somehow, when I'm in Sheffield, I can't think about anything else, I'm too busy shaggin' |

Meadowhall in Sheffield massive shopping mall to spend all day in. Has a premierinn and a travel lodge within 400 yards of it with parking. Then get a taxi or the tram into city for La Chambre.
But last time I looked, La Chambre had some pretty pricy door options. £50 yrly membership and then £25 on the night to get in. £75 is a lot of money for just a couple of hours in a club. |

There is nothing in York.
Sheffield is a good option and the club is not far from the town centre at all.
London has about 12 Clubs, it depends where in the city centre your going to stay as to how close some of them will be too you. Most of them you will have to travel back via a cab from anyway. of course it also depends what type of club you want.
Most clubs in city centres in the UK are usually not the best venues, they tend to be the smaller options and often have a high percentage of single men (Not a problem if that is what you want), the more spacious venues with better facilties by default are located further out in the burbs where space is not rented or sold at a premium. |
