Hi there,
I'm heading to Gran Canaria this year and I really want to check out the famous dunes.
Has anybody ever been there and can you give any tips or advice for a single male?

Flip flops. The sand is bloody hot!
We tried and retreated due to heat.
Got a bit fed up to many men stalked us as a couple.
Alas no more. Need to find a new playmate |

Yep,definitely flip flops or other footwear.
Not just because the sand is very very hot,very hot,but there are little dry spikey vegetation things everywhere and hurt like fuck if you stand on one. |

Have been there 4 times now and yes the dunes are fantastic .
Good tip earlier , make sure you got decent sand footwear on and not flip flops as it can be very hot . And take plenty to drink with you if your planning to stay in there for a few hours . Gay or straight part are all very good . All We can say is follow your nose and see where it takes you . Won't be long if you go off track before you find something . The rest will be up to you .
