Cheers, that's what I thought. You cannot not read a message and delete it, it will still show as read and deleted. Was only asking as i've sent a few messages to someone and for some reason they won't read it or delete it, they've just accumulated on their profile. Why would someone do that? just delete em instead of making your inbox look healthy with lots of messages you don't read. lol |

You Dont Need to Know, right now |
If you've sent 'a few' messages to someone and they haven't read or deleted any of them, you should expect to see them 'deleted'. It's never a good idea to pester someone by sending multiple messages, when they don't respond.
On the other hand, if they have replied to you earlier in the thread, they can read your subsequent mails through their own 'sent box', without opening your mails. So you wouldn't know if they have read the messages or not. |

You can read a message and mark it as unread. We only leave it as read when we have both read it. Even then we sometimes leave it until we are ready to reply. It stops us losing it or overlooking the fact that we have a message that we want to reply to when we have time to sit down together to reply. |

You can delete a message without having to read it. Well you can on the "mobile" version of the site anyway, it's the only version I use.
They maybe keeping them because they aren't in the mood to read them, they forget, they don't know how to use the notes feature or the block button so keep the messages to remind them who has contacted them ... who knows, it's really no big deal. Either block them as if they were interested they would have replied, or use the notes feature yourself to write a note on their profile that they never replied and just ignore your sent box. |
