"Why do people send this as a message - why not just bloody ask the question not ask if they can ask?!! Seriously girls get enough messages without this! "
Mainly because they are far to illiterate or lazy to compose a message, we just automatically block them |

I get this too.
Depending on my mood, the reply can vary but I've never carried on the conversation or had a meet with someone that started their fab chat with this question xx |

I posted this a few weeks ago, it really drives me mad, it happens in chat too. I never see the point in asking if they can ask, but what the response will be to the question is a different story.
If they send a face pic with the message I tend to reply with 'you just did' or 'no'. Otherwise it just gets deleted |

'If you wouldn't ask me if you'd just started talking to me in a pub, then you can't ask me here.' |

"Would you rather they just said "fancy a fuck?" ? "
Yes because I'm a very direct person - although something a little longer to show they've read my profile and know they're what I'm looking for helps too. |

"Is that their first message or does it occur in the middle of a conversation?
First message and that's all it says "
ok that is odd and a bit off putting! I can see it during a conversation as a way of seeing if a lady wishes to talk about sex or something personal but as an opening gambit it is hardly imaginative.

"I just reply with
Yes you can but it is limited to 1 a day, and given that 'can I ask you a question?' is a question you have hit your daily allowance.
Goodbye
"

"I get this quite a lot and I just message back saying no. I can't remember anyone getting back to me after I've said that.
I haven't heard from him since "
Wonder if it's the same guy because I did too |

Similarly to this but I say "you just did and one is enough" |
