It's hard to know, the membership is quite dynamic and varies from one area to another.
You can get a rough idea though by doing a local search. If you search only within 5 miles, and search for men, then women, then couples... it should give you an idea.

For us, there are 225 men, 28 women, and 143 couples.
8:1 men to women
1.6:1 men to couples
5:1 couples to women

Never thought of that good idea, we will try it. I knew they'd be miles more men. I was wondering as Ashley Madison had 3 million men to 5 thousand women (boy they could of had some fun) |

a while ago someone did a pretty comprehensive post of this,maybe search 'ratio'?..collated results from all over the place, got people to check at similar times etc, and it came out pretty much 10-1...a lot lower than most moany single men usually reckon! |

I knew the ratio was heavily skewed...just not THAT heavily skewed.
Having just seen the odds, I'm probably now not even going to bother to try any more.

i didnt say you did...i said its used as an excuse for lack of success....the thread that counted was 7 weeks ago,easy to find.. |

Not sure ratios matter much - it's the experience of 'meeting' that matters - in 5 years of being on Fab (under another profile previously) - we have met one single woman - kind of puts it into perspective - so much so, we don't bother looking for them anymore. |

There's plenty of them out there. It's just that you have to realise that there's lots of noise created by the thousands of single men profiles and work accordingly. |

i agree,the ratio is pretty irrelevant..i've been on here for hours today, and every single message i've had,without a single exception has been from someone who hasnt read or has ignored my profile,so the amount of messages is completely unmportant |

It's all bs anyway. More than half of the 'single women' are not single women. They are couples with separate profiles on top of their couples profile.
Then when you take out the number if single women not meeting or cam only profiles, the number isn't great |
