Having a child did you get back on the menu, (so to speak).
We're having a little one within the next month and we were wondering after everything had settled down, how long did you lovely fabbers with kids start to think about getting out there again.
Not a question of how long 'we' are going to be, just wondered how long it was for everyone else.

About a year after, could have started again after about 3 months if I wanted though |

I guess it'd be when you feel ready and comfortable. Everyone recovers at different speeds and feel comfortable leaving the baby at different times. So it should be when you both feel comfortable getting back into it and when you feel your body is recovered, as that is the main thing after having a baby |

We were thinking maybe we could get an average,
but from hours to 16 years, think we'll just see how it goes.
We have swingfields tickets booked for next year so we would like to be back up and running by then hopefully. |

Just see how you feel it's your choice. I personally didn't want any sex after giving birth but that was mainly due to my husband at the time being a knob and not giving me time to adjust to having a child mentally or physically. |

We started swinging when our eldest was about 6 months old (he's 3 now)
I'm currently pregnant with #2 and due 29th December so we aren't meeting for now.
We hope to get "back in the saddle" by spring maybe |

my little one is 3 months old and I want to be ready but parenting is a 24/7 thing...barely have time to myself let alone be on here ! My partner on the other hand met while I was pregnant and is trying to arrange meets again now (has been for a while)
It's seriously stressful !
It's down to you both and what works for you, you'll want to focus on your relationship postnatal and enjoy being a parent for a while xx |

We waited just shy of year after our first, that was the time it took me to be ok with how I looked after the bairns and get my confidence back, and with our last about a year again, we were ready before that but getting sitters was more difficult.
Best advice I can give you is to be honest with each other about how you're feeling about swinging. And go for it if you feel ready. X |
