We got through ours every month or so. Anyone who sends us a friend request and are added after an exchange of winks but no chatting will likely be cut if we've had no contact.
We don't have face pics in our private gallery but the ones in there are a bit more special to us so shouldn't be available to people who don't really want to know us  |

Cull every few weeks but less unfriending is needed now I only add only those I've met in person, intend to see again or see regularly, social or play.
I also cull people by blocking those who have sent a friend request without messaging. If they've got awesome verifications I might let them off. Harsh but if they can't read my profile and send a message then they're not for me |

Whenever I feel like doing it, I never announce it and only remove those who haven't been on in a while or those I don't talk to. I had one Monday I think and a few hours later, one I deleted messaged me to let me know I'd deletedhim, iI let him know I was aware and I'd done it as I never talk to him and will probably never meet him |

Regularly - it is nothing personal; my circumstances can change and I am not able to see that person again (I move a lot round the country with my job) and I can't cope with the frustration of seeing their tempting updates.
Same reason as I block some people if I don't fit their criteria. No point in chasing things you can never have.  |

we have a fairly long friends list - every so often have a cull but we chat to a lot so just need a longer message archive - keep losing people off the bottom so to speak  |

We have 8 friends and they are couples we have either met or intend to meet in the near future. We only add people who we have been chatting to for a while, the most annoying thing on here is random adds from people who cant be bothered chatting first.

Just got rid of one.
She never replies to my mails, which is ok - but she posts pics every 5 mins. And cos she was a 'friend' I see her face every time I go to updates screen.
Like every single time - her face from a new pic uploaded 5 mins ago. Etc etc etc.
Why accept friends from someone and then never reply? Does this qualify as a rant? |
