As Christos says, wait for the right situation.

I was secretly bi for thirty years. Kept it to myself and, apart from a d*unken fumble at 30 when I was single, I never explored the possibility.
When talking about a reconciliation with my now wife, I decided I had to be 100% honest for once in my life if it was going to work.
For me it worked out.
The barriers have slowly dropped away and now all four of my adult kids know, and most of my friends, that I'm bi and transgender.
