Well from Lancs originally but now miles away, so difficult to meet. However I do visit...and if you ever hopped on a Virgin train - the brand not a carriage full of hopefuls _ and made it down to London.

It's cos they tilt from side to side. As a result they're narrower so when they lean over they still fit within the space a regular train takes up, Otherwise they'd hit things like bridges etc. Damn....I best get me anorak and leave the room!
