Has anybody else had problems wiv single males contacting them using profiles of couple? we've spoken t quite few couples who appear 2 not have a partner.  |

Yes, I was contacted by a straight couple and arranged a meet. Just before the meet I got a message, saying that the female couldn't make it, but let's meet anyway. I thought this was odd so declined. A week later, the "couple" profile changed to become a bisexual single male.

I just can't think what the fake couple (ie, single male) thinks is going to happen ? Does he think, ok, that couple say no to single males, but if I fool them and turn up by myself, they'll welcome me with open arms. Are some males really that thick ? Surely not ! |

We have an opposite problem.
If the man posing as a couple hasn't read our profile properly and assumes we are looking for couples.
We get a mail saying they are a couple do we want fun etc, we reply saying we only look for single men, and their reply is normally " we have just split up"
We have timed them and the fastest break up we ever had was 29 seconds |

I heard a story once, cant think if it was someone from here or not but they were chatting to a "couple" on web cam, bad focus etc and the guy said his wife was lying on the bed, they could just make out a shadowy figure....turned out it was a big teddy bear with a dressing gown on!!!!  |

Was chatting to a "couple" who asked where my gf was i said in bed asleep and I asked if they had cam (for future reference) and they said "no sorrys y would we put cam on any way if your girl is asleep" to which I exclaimed it was for future reference....only to get "bye fake"...now our profile has 2 verifications....this "couple" had no verifications in 4 months...dodgy dya think?

The favorite seems to be that she's right their wiv them,lol believeable 4 while,thats wat latest one i come across kept sayin,went offline wen i asked t speak t her personally,wen i said didn't want t chat any more til spoken 2 her lol not been online f 3 days now...prob got new profile..yes its sad,but could also be v.dangerous t newcomer who isn't aware that this goes on. |

Don`t forget that there are "single" female profiles out there that are actually couples!!
How many time have you seen it where the "I" becomes "we"?
Some of them don`t understand when you tell them the reason you mailed was because you believed them to be single and you were looking to play without a "silent" partner being there!!!! |

Maybe they don't have verifications but can't really say they are fake...as you have read...some fakes do say their partners are asleep, cooking. out dancing...though some real couples can give these kind of reasons as well...so maybe they're just being careful...:D....Surely you guys wouldn't show yourself on cam if the other party won't show and want future references eh?

Yeah i know they could still be real, but from the things they/he/she were saying...something didn't seem right...but you never know i could be wrong. I think you have to be cynical yes, after all, it is the internet.
We always make sure both of us are here to be able to show face on cam and why we never go onto MSN until the night time, saves any confusion and having to chat too many times before a meet.
But if we were looking for couples, we wouldn't even chat to them on MSN unless the both of them were there, saves any timewasting at all. |

with all this kind of stuff going on guys dressing as women , teddy bears in the bed , and the general bullshit its a wonder anyone anywhere gets anything !!! afterall we all got to start somewhere , i dont have the attitude of everyones a fake unless proven otherwise , personally i dont think thats right , if these people want to get their kicks from that thats their business bit sad but its their life . |

I'm sorry but i don't agree....they should create honest profile,tellin people truthfully wat they want..weather it be chat,cam wateva! that way people lookin f that kinda stuff can contact em..they are exploiting and abusing peoples trust ,trickin em in 2 sendin pics etc...they prob sendin v.same pics out t people claiming they pics of imaginary wife... |

Sorry, but if we were llooking for couples, we would do as many checks at the beginning of any contact to make sure we were not going to waste any time.
In fact, we do more or less the same to the single men we want to meet, what is the point in getting to a meeting point without checking their cam etc beforehand ?
So yes, you have to be cynical to a certain extent, and wary of who you are speaking to at the beginning as the net has lots of liars on it. |

Hi
I am part of a couple and the female part with vertification. My male counter part has a profile with a couple and with vertification. But I am the one on cam most of the time and always get asked where the hubby is.
He does go on his profile on cam when kids are a sleep. We do get a laugh trying to get people to relise that we are in bed together but not playing. But it takes a lot of talking to get them to relise that he is my other half. Its great fun.
But have a problem was approached by a couple who wanted to meet with couples, talked to female on phone but they only wanted a female. They became very pushy in what they wanted and didn't care for my partners feelings or his needs. So since I turned them down they don't want to talk. |

Ive also had a strange one i was mailed by a couple or so they said they only had photo's of the lady on there profile. I chatted to the guy on MSN ans asked several times if his partner was there howevere she was never avaialable. It became clear that this was a single guy who just wanted to talk about sex.

we find that so many people couples send an invite without messaging yet when you reply asking what they are looking for? you get nothing. one we where asked by we had scene at youtopia the night still trying to work that one out
we been verified by two or three couples, yet.
We are starting to feel like clubs are the only way to meet people.
Alos why all asking to have phone chat after first message, god they writee six words to you and what to phone chat.

we have cam on the laptop but really not used it only the main reason that people can record it on to the their hard drive, or so been told. So we do not want to cam until we have meet and then cam for fun. ( does that sound too sillyLOL)
I think i was thinking could you not look at people profiles and see if you see any people on their friends list you know ?
I thought about doing but not sure if thats too cheeky to do

It is very easy to record webcams, even easier to stream a video as a fake webcam. We always make sure the other couple have cam and make sure the streaming isn't fake. If you don't do n e thing dirty on cam then if they do want to record it then they won't get the footage.

Verifications are important for a lot of people. The PV is also a good indication that you are who you say you are.
But we go by gut instinct and camming to show face.
If we were looking for couples, then we would still go more with gut instinct but take everything into account. |

I had a guy who i took over to msn and because i wouldnt put my cam on there and then(looked like shit) he said i was a fake and a time waster and was probley a guy. Now that may have been acceptable for him to say that if i didnt have loads of verifications and pictures on site. He had no pictures and said his cam was broke now wtf. |

We never cam, never have and never will, not knocking it's effectiveness but it's just not our thing.
We do have some fairly good verifications but even they mean nothing unless everyone knows everyone.
The best method of proving who you are is to attend an organised meeting or munch or party etc etc. Word soon gets round as to who is the real deal |

yea we were contacted by a couple profile the other day and added them to msn for wee chat, altho who ever it was chatting said she was the female part of couple and sent a blurry pic of a female to us, when she said they wanted to meet up we showed her a pic of us as a couple and as they had been on the site for a few months and not verified by photo or from others we asked to see a pic o them both, but sadly she did not have one of them both even tho they supposedly been together for years and had 3 kids lol, we said no pic no meet, she then went funny and blocked us on msn lol |

yea it is face pics we ask for and if we are interested dont have a prob showing hours its not just for verifacation but also to see if there is an attraction ect as we dont want to waste the time o others and ourselfs. dont put us off tho cos lots o gen people on here but does make us more careful |

i have mentioned this on another thread and im gonna repeat myself on this one..lol
a cpl contacted us a few times and for some reason wouldnt take no for an answer so i finished the countless e-mail ping-pong by saying we dont meet cpls...
he then mailed us with a single guys profile with the same location and pics and tried again...his single profile heading was "" very genuine singe guy "" yea sure..!!!!!!
i contacted site admin with both profile names and mail but did they do anything..??? did they hell as both profiles are still there...whats the point...stella..xxxx |

This is my take on this subject (for what it's worth lol). Not long after we joined this site, we bought a cheap mobile phone (you can get them real cheap on Ebay) and got 4 free sims cards off the internet (readily available for any network), so when we are contacted or we are contacting we always give our number for fem/fem chat. If they are fake, guess what? the phone don't ring; if they are genuine, the phone does ring. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. If we then get nuisance calls / texts, we've still got another 3 sim cards to use lol.
Also, Mr Martini spends more time in the chat rooms than I do but we usually in the same room together and he has the cam trained on me, so if we get people querying if we are genuine he'll either type in the chat or say out loud if he's got voice on for me to do something specific i.e. wave with your left hand / run your right hand through your hair. So most of the time it's him 'chatting', but I'm only about 10 feet away from him (we have a rather large kitchen lol).
One more thing (sorry, I know I go on sometimes lol) why is it that a lot of people don't put at least one pic on their profile? Are they scared that somebody might recognise them?? Well that's easy sorted... how did they find your profile in the first place and they weren't looking for the same thing as you are!!
Last bit (promise), if you are unsure about any member be it couples, males or females, just be polite and honest and say that you are really unsure if they are genuine but thank you for your interest. If it turns out the are in fact genuine, they WILL prove it one way or the other.

Imagine the folk who found your profile on here are a couple, single guy or girl who works with or simply knows you socially and they do not give a flying feck about who knows what THEY get up to, and suddenly your secret is out
Thats why most folk keep their profile pictures discrete and generally keep their faces and too many personal details hidden

It's Bizarre, particularly as our profile says we will meet single guys..It's just we want to find the verified ones. Best was oh we can't meet tonight but I could pop in after work.....yeah right |

We have both, we have couple and I have my own one. I have a reason for wanting my own one and we have a reason for wanting the couple one. We don't see why we should have to explain our reasons to anyone -- they're ours But each profile has its purpose and they're both staying!  |

I've been recently winked at and then contacted by a single female, we got to chatting, she had a verification (which I probably should have checked out) and it seemed to be going fine. She then wanted to know when I could visit and what my MSN and I made her a "Friend".
Now, given that I hadn't contacted her, or really said anything outrageous or offensive, I found myself blocked by her. She's now back posting in the "meet today" section and carrying on as normal.
I can see a number of reasons for all of this.
1) she changed her mind - perfectly legitimate and not a problem
2) she is a he - in which case what an arse!
3) she has no intention of meeting anyone
4) she pushed the block button by mistake
5)pic collector of some description?
6)who the hell knows?
