Daytime social parties

I am thinking of organising a Surrey Daytime Social.
There are some great socials organised at night times. Many can only play daytimes and it's much harder to connect socially like the main night time crowd can.
Has anyone tried to get a daytime social going anywhere over lunch? Did it work? |

Another site now in decline used to organise brunches and they were highly successful events for the very reason there is a swathe of people who for what ever reasons cannot make evening events.

"And also school Mums "
School mums can get sitters for evenings they just choose not to
As do all parents of children if they really tried they could do it |

Oh really, you think it is that easy. Sitters are not that easy to organise for a lot of people. A lot of single men seem to think fems and couples have babysitters on tap. This could not be further from the truth for us. We rely on grandparents to babysit, but they also help out with having our children a lot during school holidays as we both work, so we do not feel that we can take advantage of their good nature all the time..
The ironic thing is when we do get sitters for the night a lot of the so called single men that are desperate to play with E suddenly vanish or dont show up, leaving us frustrated that more rare potential playtime is wasted |

The townhouse does a daytime event on the first Monday of every month. Gets about 100 people in I think! I'm usually too busy to count though! |

"The Vanilla Alternative has the milf club too and that's very popular.
I wish there was more daytime things in my area as my work hours can be flexible. "
Agree
They have running the event since December 2014. Once a month and the event is still very popular.
Great venue and hosts too |

I think it's a great idea. I'm a single parent but can be flexible with my working arrangements sometimes during the day when organising cover in an evening may be really difficult. I'd love to attend a coffee morning social near me |

Sounds like it's a good idea then. So let's make it a coffee morning concept.
What shall we call it?
Wicked Wednesday?
Flirty Friday Coffee Morning?
Surrey Coffee Morning?
Or
Ladies that Munch?
Ideas? |
