Photo reposting

Lots of people delete their picture then upload the same one again. Are there any benefits from doing this?

Puts you on the local updates....can get very tedious though...much better to add new ones rather than re post.

Or they don't bother deleting the old one but keep reposting the same 4-5 pics, you scroll down and there they are one after the other.
