Hi

We'll be in Southampton towards the end of October and have started looking for a club to visit. Can't find anything. Any suggestions?

Go to the tapas bar oposite the red funnel ferry terminal (la regata). Then go along to the Platform tavern for some excellent live music. Don't ruin a great night out by fucking random oddballs.

Hampshire isn't great. Ab Fabs is about an hour or so away. Recommended. Also BGHS in Brighton which is a different sort of place but still fun.

Liberation parties once a month on 1st Saturday of month but haven't managed to get to one of those yet.

Southampton may be rubbish for swingers clubs, ie none. We have some great bars and nightclubs though and we arent oddballs.

I come from near Southampton and certainly when I was a kid, there was fuck all in the way of nightlife and the place is full of oddballs - I should know, I'm one of them

Actually, I think most of the oddballs are down the road - our fishy friends

Hmm, took a look at the Ab Fab website. It seems quite pricey - is it really worth the cost? Seems to be £50 per couple plus £10 each membership = 70 quid

We go to bghs in Brighton for the day. Whole day in the spa and play in the rest rooms all for £30.

The only alternative would be there's a once a month party in Bournemouth or Portsmouth if you timed it right.

Yeah, it's a tad on the chunky side.

It needs a disruptive new entrant to shake things up (like easyjet did for the arline industry.... £10 per couple, standard pub prices for drinks, now there's a though easyswing, the whole place painted orange....)

That's on Saturdays, they also do a go four sat nights and get the 5th free or something like that... Oh and the memberships for life... You only pay that once!

Hmm, maybe we're being a bit like skinflints. Certainly Xtasia, up near Birmingham, is half the price, but maybe not nearly as swish...

Friday nights is certainly cheaper but it does get single guys, so I guess it just depends what you want really

We really like the facilities

We go to AbFabs or Angels in Melksham. Neither terribly convenient, but both worth going to with lovely people and facilities - the driving is a faff, but the evenings are worth it!

There's nothing in the Southampton area now. We used to go to Swinger's Junction (which then became JCT2) but that closed a few years ago. We now drive an hour up he road to Abfabs / Kestrels but tend to go on a Monday night when we can as we like Bi play. It's expensive but really does have fantastic facilities.

Lol

I don't think this contribution got the appreciation it deserved.

Maybe we'll try Ab Fabs when we have a bit more time down that way. Certainly not going to go often enough to qualify for their 'go four nights, get the fifth free' offer.

I guess we could always take the old fashioned approach of trying to cultivate some contacts in the area....

Maybe you could try Divino's spa in Slough? Not far from Abfabs but only £21 entry fee for a couple. Good facilities and very clean

all the actions out on the boats in the harbour, if they are bobbing up and down there is some action going on

It isn't fool proof though,on a windy day it looks like every boat is hosting an orgy

And this attitude is what gives single men at clubs a poor reputation, and why many couples prefer couples only nights...

My wife is not a prostitute, and just because you've paid to get in does not give you the right to play with her.

Suggest you stick to hiring prostitutes.

There is paradise spa in Bournemouth. Not been as yet so don't known if it is any good but it is closer and cheaper although parking is a pain

It may be closer but the journey is as long if not longer as it's not a great route. Going to Abfabs mainly involves motorways - we can do it in just over an hour.

Also, the Paradise spa is very small

with limited opportunities whereas Abfabs is pretty vast as clubs go.

Indeed it is and they've got there own flag system to message each other about who's up for what
