Yes it's very weird I hate it who in there right mind would give their details to someone they have never spoke to. As you never know who you would be giving their number to |

It does not just happen on here it happens in other places to and I do hate it as would rather get to know the person first before sharing personal details. |

I can agree with what your saying but not everyone has a phone they can just use for this. I don't mind getting numbers but just after a while of chatting first. Not just getting a number in the first message |

ive seen a few profiles that insist on a phone number and a pic in the first message or its an instant delete
I would deduce that the sender is
1) a real player
2) keen to meet you
3) single unless a couple profile |

. I cannot see any harm in it. No one is compelled to phone anyone and anyone with common sense with keep a separate phone for fab or other sex contact sites .

I can agree with that but not everyone has that admittedly if I had a throw away number I would have no problem in handing it out but even then I would rather chat with person on here first |

if you get phone numbers from status or early message, especially the guys as you are born suckers  just Google the std code to make sure it's not a premium rate line before you call it.

Completely agree I don't give my number out at all to fab meets even ones I've known years so to receive it in a first message I just think hmmmm probably not the best idea and for me it comes off as them being desperate |

. You might give out your number in order to have polite conversation . It is no different to any other aspect of life . If you advertise goods for sale you will always have to disclose a phone number . Anyone with common sense will keep a different number which is exclusive to arranging meets .
By exchanging numbers and chatting on the phone you have a much better chance of assessing if the member is genuine . |

I don't get common sense. I don't have a different number for fab. I'm single and have no reason to keep it secret. I have only given my number to people I have built a rapport with and have deleted theirs when required with no issues. I have never and will never give anybody my address x |
