I will never understand some people, like tonight, I wrote to someone who joined FAB today. I explained my circumstances, as I'm a disabled person who is confined to a wheelchair, which I hastened to add has never stopped my doing anything.

Well the next thing I had a message saying I sounded really nice, so I wrote back saying thanks for the reply and usual chit chat nothing rude, next thing deleted message and blocked and I don't know why? I'm stumped.

I can't tell you for sure but it was probably because they weren't interested in meeting you so chose to block after they had responded. Some people do this as a matter of course and it really is nothing personal.

Onwards and upwards

A million and 1 reasons. Forget about it and move on. Focus on those who are intrested.

Why second guess it - she obviously wasn't interested

They may have been nice in what they said but not interested so to avoid further contact, hence the block.

You should be losing no sleep and giving zero fucks about it.

It's just some fabbers way of saying no thanks.

Join the club. Get that too. Not as if I am rude or abusive. Each to their own I suppose. Makes you wonder if manners and politeness pays

It's got nothing to do with manners or politeness. The sheer volume of mail some people receive means they can cherry pick the best......and discard the tripe

At 51 I'm too wise to let things get to me, I know its a cruel world out there but some people I never understand.

She joined the site today. I think it was nice of her to respond. This is fantasy...I will say no more!

We had someone send an unsolicited friend request then block us.

It takes all sorts to make a world so there is really no point wasting time questioning why.

Continue, have sex and be happy!!!

No point asking why here as the only person who can answer your question is her

We encourage people we mail to block us if we are not their type . Just saves us contacting them again . Sorry to say but their are a lot of people who don't feel the need to respond. We always reply even if it's sorry you are not for us

If they've just joined they're probably being bombarded with about 300 messages at that point and may have just gone through using the blocks nd delta but on and you got caught up

Brighton - even Hove!

Although a block is personal - it's not, it's like a quick 'no thanks' message button. Concentrate on those who do want to meet you.
