Seriously, see your GP! A very good female friend of mine suffered from MS too and was prescribed it to help with her sex life!
You`ve got nothing to lose by asking and with the no doubt cocktail of meds you have to take for your MS shouldn`t cost you any more on your prescription bill if you pre-pay for your tablets. |

What I`m about to say applies to everyone who`s in work and has to take a number of different meds regularly. You can pay a fixed fee for either 6 months or one year and covers you for ANY meds you get prescribed during that time period. In my case, I now have five different meds, pay just over £100 for the year and save loads! Included in this is Gaviscon Advance which is only available in chemists (it`s a different make up from regular Gaviscon) and my Verdenafil although I only get FOUR tablets every two months! Sad to say that even with this meagre amount, I still have a couple of packets unopened |

Don't need private prescriptions for viagra any more..it's also not restricted to certain conditions anymore so anyone can get it from their gp at normal prescription charges... |

I've looked on Loads pharmacy and had it recommended however is £55 for 4 tablets how do you get a prescription to get it at NHS prices, is there anyway other than a semi embarrassing trip to the docs? |

Unfortunately, MS sufferers do not seem to qualify automatically for free prescriptions on the basis of their medical condition alone (which seems a bit unfair as diabetes sufferers do qualify). Nevertheless, your GP can prescribe viagra (or an alternative such as cialis) to you and if you take advantage of the £104 per annum scheme mentioned above, you may find that the additional prescription charges are in effect free (depending of course on what other medications you are on). |

Again, thank you to everybody for taking the time to reply. I do have MS but I'm not on any medication because(thankfully) at the moment the side affects would be worse than the symptoms. But that then means I cant Viagra on prescription. Plus I would need more than 4 tablets a month. |
