One word replies...how to reply.

I've had a couple of messages where i've sent an message and someone has messaged back "Hi", now i've already said like how are you and i initated the conversation, how do I proceed?
Yes I could ignore but I've had a few really good conversations with people after a slow start in the past, so don't want to shut down a conversation just because we're both maybe nervous or unsure enough to know what to say... |

dunno. i'd look at their profile and start a conversation off that.
just show some kind of interest in something they chose to use to represent themselves.
this is why guys need to have a decent profile too. |

it's a common reply the women have well some do 300 or 400 messages in inbox they can't reply to all the " hi " is probably a sign that in the three seconds she devoted to you you were worth a hi  |
