Does "Meets today" work?

Asking out of curiosity here; does the meet today-function work? It takes a while for us to arrange meets with another part, so we are curious how this function works out for people on here.

Depends what you're looking for. If you where looking for a single male it would probably work, but apart from that you may be struggling a bit more.
I had a couples profile on here with an old fb and that always seemed to be the case with us. |

It's never worked for me.
Generally most guys contact me to say they can't meet when I have requested but could I do between 9-10am the next morning (you get the picture).  |

Thanks guys for you answers. I guess it is like some say, it might be easier to meet a single guy that way. But hey, nice to know it works for some, might try it out. :P |

Meet today does work...had the best meet ever on a meet today basis..in fact have had several other meets on the spur of the day...so yes it does work..post your meet with a phone number, it sorts out the time wasters and dreamers.. |

I agree that leaving a phone number is efficcient but it sounds a bit risky to leave a phone number. Had any rabbit boilers? |

No it don't work. I hardly put a meet up, here is London's meet today:
1 woman
10 couples
43 men
So you see women don't need to put one up lol, cos its a cock fest  |

As a single girl it has never worked for me.... As I stated earlier most guys contact me and try to arrange for another time rather than when I am specifically looking. |

We have had 30 offers today all from single (married) men.....no women no couples no tv/ts  |

A lot of single men in Stoke use the feature from what I see in my updates - some are looking for couples too.

Sometimes.....I've had some last minute invitations which have led to me meeting some really good fun people.
Also I find it can be a carpe diem kind of thing where people you've chatted to for a while see you are looking the same day they are and - well seize the day! |

I've never posted a meet but im actually free next Friday so I'm going to advertise and get a head start! Hopefully I'll get some interest but with the current ratio its a challenge!  |

I'm gonna be using that function a bit over the next year because I won't know from one day to the next when I'll be free, but I've had no luck from posting and the near me seems to like York in preference to Nottingham sometimes life's rich tapestry and all that |

Its worked for, though not all the time.
But then, when you've got so many men listing meets, its easy to get lost in the crowd.
That's why I also update my status + Put a description of what I'm looking for.
If it interests anyone, they wink / message.
Most of the time its more about looking for people who're in the same wavelength as me on what they're looking for. |
