Me and my f.b have arranged a meet tonight with an (un-verified) couple. When we try to send them any messages now, we can't because it says that we are 'blocked/blocked them (which we haven't) or their account has been suspended'. Text messages from them say that it is a blip on Fabs system! The question is, do we still drive over to them for the meet?????  |

can you chat with them on the phone?
and how far do you have to go to meet them?
can you cam with them on msn?
but my gut feeling is if you are having doughts about them follow your instinct |

If it comes up with that message then they've blocked you. I'd say a big no no!! Could always ask admin if there's a blip but I think someone's taking the piss. |

We always have a back-up plan, checking to see if there are any nice local restaurants to where we have planned to meet etc, that way, if its a no-meet, we still have a good evening...
However, if you think someone is messing around, simply explain you would be happier meeting another time as with the weather etc you don't want to take a risk, explain the situation to them, (as you have here, perhaps even direct them to the thread) if they're genuine they will understand, if not, well, like as not you'll find out from their response to that.. |

I think your wrong there. We would never give a landline number out or expect to get one.
I won't even give my normal mobile number out.

I agree about the landline....I would never give mine out. We are gonna go for it anyway. Sure we will have some naughty fun even if the meet does fall through. Watch this space...... LOL. |

under normal circumstances neither would we,but as you have pointed out these arent really normal circumstances.

I'm back. They were genuine but their account was suspending for putting a phone number on there! Anyway, turned out that the type of meet wasn't my thing, so yes, resorted to back up plan and now have a big smile on my face and sore patches on my knees.  |
