I have seen several status updates re time wasters on here and have encountered a fair few myself.
Is there a list somewhere where we can report, and fellow 'genuine' swingers can check on potential new contacts?? |

It depends what you mean by 'time waster' and 'genuine'. What about genuine time wasters? If you feel you've been let down or impacted negatively by a person you consider to be wasting your time, then you can report them to admin. I suspect they have a list but it's not published or available to standard members. You need platinum membership for access. |

If you arrange a meet and they don't show, you can report them as such from their profile. Apart from that best to just ignore or block and move on. there are plenty of people on here who meet. |

In a way verifications provide an indication that people are genuine swingers and turn up for meets - a sort of "not timewaster" list. However it seems that some on fab are put off by long verification lists.
Personally our time isn't so precious that we consider it wasted - it's all part of the fun and chase, and it's up to individuals to protect their precious time by taking care of who, where and when they meet |

. Why do members worry about what they refer to as time wasters.? All you need to do is have a well thought out vetting procedure and maybe ignore profiles that are less than fifteen lines .
If someone cannnot be bothered to write a decent profile , it may indicate that they have no real interest in the site or meeting anyone . |

Although I agree a well written profile is always a bonus, I don't necessarily agree that because they've only bothered with a few lines they're going to be time wasters or not genuine. I've met a couple of guys who only had one or two line profiles but send some nice pics and both wrote fantastic first messages that I can still remember now some 4 or so years later.
The problem is so many have differing opinions of what constitutes a time waster. Talking for a bit then going quiet or blocking I don't see as time wasting as you'd be on here chatting anyway probably. They probably just changed their mind or didn't like something the other person said. To me, your time is only really wasted when you arrange a meet, spend time getting ready, sort child care etc, travel to the venue then are let down by a now show with no contact from them or a last minute poor excuse. This has only happened to me once but I now like to think I've perfected the way I meet as it hasn't happened in nearly 4 years.
This site gives you all the tools you need to them out, filters etc, and you have your gut instinct which for me, works very well. People will change their mind, I have in the past but it doesn't mean they're time wasters. Anyone is more than entitled to change their mind at any point about meeting. |

On my timeline every two or so weeks two couples both different areas of the county pop up same pictures saying the same shit then gone.
Soon as I block them ( I noticed the pattern after a while) they come back ??? , just a spin in names but always based around the same

The ones that amuse me are people who moan the xxxx is a time waster in their status. You look at xxxx and see they have plenty of veris from many people and I think bless, they're bitter because they didn't want to meet you!! |

Our profile is not very long and we made it that way with thought and consideration. It does not indicate our desire to meet people or not. |

I'm sure we would be considered time wasters. Kate is in a hotel at the moment and yesterday met with a guy (who we had met once before) for an few hours of fun.
Now, that sounds ok until you know we first met him 2 years ago and have been trying to arrange another meet since.
Yes 2 years of cancellations... 2 years of yes "let's meet this weekend" only to find a babysitter cancels, child gets I'll, they get called into work etc etc.
Now, if you are holding your cock in your hand, and this keeps happening, then we will appear to be time wasters.
As it stands, the Stars have aligned and she's in the hotel for 3 days and they are making the most of it.
The thing is, we were and are always clear about how real life takes preference. We do this as fun, and don't get stressed over it.
This is also why we rarely try and arrange meets and just go to clubs. Saves all the hassle and let downs.
We have even been paying a taxi driver and got a call to go home. It happens.
My advice, don't stress it, don't worry about the time wasters. There are plenty about but there are also plenty of people who change plans.
If its that important to you, just block and move on. I have no problem people blocking us because we may cancel - I'm not about to lose a seconds sleep about someone else's sexual needs over my kids welfare.
The only real way to guarantee going on a meet where there will be swingers is going to a club. No, you may not get who you want but that's the balance.
Moaning about time wasters is like moaning about a train being late. Most will be fine, some will be late and some never turn up. And some you'll end up take a ride on a knackered old bus! That's the risk you take.
If you don't want to take the risk... Don't take the train.

Your words are somewhat weasely. It could be said that literally anything MAY be an indicator of time wasters. However you brought that specific instance up which suggests you hold it slightly more dear and likely to be a cause than others as you never saw fit to mention them.
Therefore in suggesting that you are talking out of your arse I was simply reminding you and others that there are often good reasons for people to write shorter profiles and that bringing suspicion on the in the way you did was both unnecessary and somewhat short sighted.
Also remember one person's time waster is another person's valuing certain unforseen events higher than meeting strangers for sex.
It is frustrating but in our experience there is usually a good reason. I have no doubt some people never seriously intend to meet but I also suggest they are in the minority. |

Sorry - I don't get your point. I didn't mention anything about profiles. I was talking about verifications. A verification from a meet is some evidence however slim that the person has at least met. |

I had someone who at the last minute decide they were too nervous to meet.
A wuss yes, but it's his decision except 5 minutes later he asked if he could book a hotel for us.
So he was too nervous to meet for a drink but a hotel meet for sex was ok. Twat. |
