Hey guys and girls of Fab. I have a question: due to my profession, I don't particularly want to have my face on public view on my profile. I've never been a fan of cock-shots anyway, so I've tried to keep pictures limited to body pictures, and only keep the face images set to "Friends-only".
I also include a face picture (or two) when I'm messaging someone.
I don't expect a lot of women/couples to view my profile at any one time; I know there are hundreds, if not thousands, of male profiles to any one female/couple profile however, in your honest opinion, is not having a face picture in the public folder a detriment to actually talking to someone? |

Probably not, but a lot of people have jobs (teachers for instance) where their out of work activities could be construed as being incompatible with their professional role. |

Indeed as I have but prefer to say I don't want to have my face pics in public because I just don't want them public, nothing to do with my job. |

All my face photos are hidden and will stay that way. People do understand that. Im sure if you are sending them in a message then no one would hold it against you |

I definitely don't bother chatting to anyone without a face pic that i've seen (if i'm thinking of meeting them), but if someone just wanted to chat then i wouldn't care.
Other people don't care to see your face pic but they're after a connection and not being shallow, so some people it won't matter.
I reckon it'd be weird to chat and flirt with someone and then find out it was someone you know. |
