If u visiting the Preston blackpool folds Coast area there's a water alert out due to contamination of water supply . Don't drink tap water bring your own .

And Chorley. You can have brews though, boiling the water will kill all the diarrhoea causing parasites.

Bring diet or pepsi if coming here.

£50-£60 compensation depending how long the water was undrinkable for.

it's fine to use now apparently.

It's not all clear, there are still parts of Lancashire that haven't received the all clear.

Well it's around 220-230 000 out of 300 000 have been given the all clear, the remaing 70-80 000 are largely in the more rural areas of Lancashire, whilst virtually all of the urban areas have been given the all clear.

True, and the risk even in the boil notice ares is likely to be very low now. But best to err on the side of caution.
