Looking at arranging a mmf daytime meet, picking up our friend from East Midlands Airport. Does anybody have any recommendations as to where we can go nearby, hotel wise?

Novotel offer day rates (there's one at east mids), rooms are normally pretty big so room for all of you or if there's a de vere nearby they also offer day rooms. Enjoy!

You could try between 9 and 5 web site who have lots of hotels that offer day rates.

There's a Travelodge at Donnington Services right by East Mids airport, it can be low prices when booked at the right time.

I don't know if the jury's inn does day rates, but the rooms are really nice and there's one in Nottingham, one in Derby

The days inn at the cricket ground in Derby does them but if the Op searches day rates and puts east Midlands in as the local airport it will come up with quite a lot x

Holiday Inn Express East Midlands Airport £50.00 10am - 2pm

Hilton East Midlands Airport £65.00 9am - 5pm

Novotel Nottingham East Midlands £48.00 9am - 4pm

I am sure there is a Days hotel near you on a motorway services, we used one once which was only £35 for the night, so we used it for the afternoon and placed the key when finished in reception as you pay in advance no need to stay the night
