I think the answer to this question is yes (in fact, I want it to be yes), but I'd be grateful if someone can say for sure:
If you set a message filter to block a particular gender, can said gender still wink you?

Site must have changed it then. I've recently seen people whinging about getting winks from people who they blocked (usually men not wanting them from men).
