Yeah, that question. Dicks don't look good to me, but I feel like I should probably have one available on request and I don't want it to look dickish or stupid, but tasteful. Any idea's? All the more interesting photos seem to have been taken by someone else |

tripod and self timer, the selfie stick and self timer work great too.
Alternatively pile books up on a chair to support camera check you can get what you want in shot use a self timer then adjust the position or yours judging by photos. |

I did not find that, I wonder if it got taken down. However, I took the advice of the thread and used a selfie stick and one of those Bluetooth shutter controls. I uploaded a couple. Thank you to everyone for your comments. Very helpful  |

I have a Bluetooth shutter button and mini phone tripod that I bought of ebay for very little. About a tenner I think.

Ooh, did you also get the selfie stick and lenses?
The kit I bought was £12.99 and came with a fisheye, widescreen and macro lens. Very useful, but not really for selfies lol |

So I might have already surrendered 50% of my manlyness for obvious reasons but I could never bring myself to use or be seen buying a selfie stick  . Few little tips. Long mirror, slightly side on unless you are ripped (hides wobbly bits  ). Good light is a huge help for getting clear pics. Shots taken from above or below can sometimes make people look completely out of proportion.
If you are showing your face try to smile or have a cheeky grin, less of a chance of looking like a ceral killer. Before you delete a shot that your not sure of try convert it to B/W. Everything looks better in black and white.
